WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW
Consultants play a significant role in driving the delivery of innovative and results-oriented solutions for our clients. They lead research and analysis for our projects, framing the team’s knowledge base around the topic at hand. This includes both quantitative rigor and gaining primary insights through interviews with stakeholders. As those who dive deep into the issues, they think critically and creatively to develop insights based on their findings from the research process. They gain a broad knowledge base that cuts across sectors and geographies while driving the core of every project’s work. Not only do Consultants work closely with their managers, but they are also tasked with gaining trust and credibility by working directly with clients and change makers.
Our work spans local, regional, and global engagements in collaboration with governments, development finance institutions, philanthropies, and private sector partners. Our consultants conduct fieldwork in communities on the ground, coordinating across borders with regional stakeholders, and contributing to global research that shapes policy and investment decisions in emerging and developed markets alike. From day one, they are a core member of project teams, learning by doing with the support of training, mentorship, and management-level advising. But Dalberg is more than a place to build skills- it's a platform for change. Our consultants are empowered to institute best practices and help shape the culture and traditions that define the Dalberg experience. Innovation and entrepreneurship aren't just valued here; they're essential to our success and to making impact mainstream.
Typically, Consultants spend two to three years in the role before becoming Project Managers.
